My basic teaching philosophy is that I can help "the one." That is why I chose the name One in a Minion for my blog. I want to reach out to my students with a one-on-one mentality because I believe that they will be more successful. I especially look forward to working with those students who have been written off as failures either by former teachers, parents, or even by themselves.
I have been working with at-risk youth for nearly five years and I enjoy being able to see them learn and grow academically and also see their confidence increase. I want to help them gain marketable skills that will help them continue to see success in life.
